Indian Dancers Pray to the God of Arts Ganesha

Magnificent Inaugaration of the Siegburg Series  ‘Meeting India’

Rajyashree Ramesh, Karen Taguet and Kirthi Ramesh fascinated with their perfection and the combination of classical and contemporary themes in Ramesh’s production. At the beginning there was a dance as prayer to Ganesha, ‘God of Arts’ also called Vinayaka. Then followed by ‘Varnam’ and with the staging of Goethe’s ‘Iphigenie in Tauris’, a coming to terms with European culture and Indian Dance dictum.
