Indian Dance at Rathaus - Cultura Cura
The dancer Rajyashree Ramesh living in Berlin and her ensemble ‘Darpana’ presented a both educative and entertaining afternoon of dance in the Old Rathaus on Saturday. It also offered an introduction to the Indian mythology without which the Indian Dance cannot be understood. Apart from the colourful costumes, it is amazing to see the perfection of the body movements of the dancers: when slightest movements of head and eyes mean something specific, one cannot even afford to blink. Rajyashree Ramesh explained extensively so that, the performance on the stage could be understood by all.
